Estepona City Council announces that Room 1 of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in Plaza de las Flores, will host an exhibition by artist Ireneo José Ruiz Rodríguez. The exhibition will be open from June 12 to 25.
Born in Ceuta, the artist Ireneo Ruiz trained at the School of Arts and Crafts and the Al-Zahara Academy, both in Algeciras. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions and has received awards in painting competitions held in Gibraltar, Chiclana, Los Barrios, San Roque, and La Línea, among other cities.
The exhibition in Estepona, titled "Cajón de sastre," is a journey through his artistic career from the 1980s to the present. Viewers will be able to see the artist's evolution through different styles and techniques through small and medium-sized works.
The exhibition opening will take place today, Thursday, June 12th, at 6:00 PM. The exhibition will be open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with free admission.
