"creative hands" workshop
Estepona City Council announces that the Municipal Library will be offering the "Creative Hands" workshop during the month of August in the Elvira Lindo Children's Room, located in the Padre Manuel Cultural Center. This municipal initiative is free and aimed at children between 6 and 12 years old.
The workshop is held weekly on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, offering two time slots: from 10:00 to 11:30 and from 12:00 to 13:30. Each slot will have a maximum of eight spots, assigned in order of registration.
The sessions will be designed to stimulate participants' creativity and ingenuity. The initiative includes various craft activities such as collage, cardboard recycling, bookmarks, summer layouts, fabric paintings, and altered books, among others. With a theme centered on libraries and literature, "Creative Hands" seeks to encourage crafting in a fun and educational environment, allowing each child to express their own story through art.
Interested families should send an email to biblioteca@estepona.es with the subject line "Creative Hands Workshop." In the body of the message, please include the child's first and last name, age, and preferred shift. Each registration is valid for one week, comprising two workshop sessions.
With this activity, Estepona City Council reaffirms its commitment to providing learning and fun spaces for young people, consolidating the Elvira Lindo Children's Library as a meeting place for imagination and talent.
